・越前打刃物の伝統工芸士が鍛造から研ぎまで一貫して仕上げた無骨な中にも温かみのある山刀です。
・鍛錬された鎚跡が残るブレードには、切れ味が長く持続し砥ぎ易い安来鋼白紙２号を使用しています。錆には強くないので、防錆紙等で刃先を包んで保管して頂けるとより長持ちします。
・安全に収納したり、持ち運びも出来る刃にやさしい機能性に優れた皮鞘が付いており、アウトドアやフィールドワークに最適です。
・小枝や硬い草払いや、簡単な調理までなら幅広くお使い頂けますが、直径φ1cm以上の枝等を払う場合や硬い骨等を切断する場合は、刃が欠ける恐れがありますので、ご注意下さい。

切れ味に定評のある日立金属で作られた白鋼を採用。
ナイフ・鉈となっていますので、ご家庭で使う包丁に比べると、かなり重くなっております。
その分、丈夫さがありますので、刃こぼれはしにくい作りとなっております。
また、柄と刃の間に金具が付いており、手が滑って刃を握ってしまう事がない安全設計となっております。


・This mountain knife is rugged yet warm, and is made by a traditional craftsman of Echizen blades, from forging to sharpening.
・The blade, which has the marks of a hammer, is made of Yasugi steel Shirogami No. 2, which maintains its sharpness for a long time and is easy to sharpen. It is not resistant to rust, so if you wrap the tip of the blade in rust-proof paper, it will last longer.
・It comes with a leather sheath that is gentle on the blade and can be safely stored or carried, making it ideal for outdoor activities and field work.
・It can be used for a wide range of purposes, from clearing twigs and hard grass to simple cooking, but please be careful when clearing branches with a diameter of φ1 cm or more or cutting hard bones, as the blade may chip.
